Fanny Bourdette Donon: Special Projects, Dior

from Let's Get Dressed

Fanny Bourdette-Donon is the International PR and Special Projects Manager for Dior Beauty. Fanny was raised in Rwanda, studied in France, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion where she had a chance encounter with Dior’s Jérôme Pulis - a meeting that would kick start her career within the luxury house. Today, she’s one of the most well known names in the business of fashion, working closely with the luxury house’s brand ambassadors, coordinating public relations internationally, and is an influential figure herself for her enviable style and inspirational work ethic. In this episode, Fanny and I discuss the movement for Black Lives Matter and how it’s dramatically shifted her mindset, what it means to be a Black woman in the fashion industry and in France, and the importance of allyship in the mission for equality.  Resources:  2BG, founded by Chrissy Rutherford and Danielle Prescod [email protected] A Racist Incident At Fashion Week, by Tiffany Reid https://www.businessoffashion.com/articles/opinion/op-ed-a-racist-incident-at-fashion-week   15% Pledge founded by Aurora James https://www.15percentpledge.org/   British Vogue Interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCHBoTL8X8A&feature=share   Produced by Dear MediaLet’s Get DressedYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@livvperezInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/letsgetdressedpod/Newsletter: https://substack.com/@livvperezLiv Perez Instagram: www.instagram.com/livvperezTikTok: www.tiktok.com/livv.perezShopMy: https://shopmy.us/livvperez Hosted on Acast. Wounded Warriors of the Cross Gary Pastoral and clergy mental health is a mostly ignored area, especially by those who live their lives as pastors in the clergy. The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places.
