Fans and Germs Gather For World Cup: Health Advice

As millions of soccer fans from all around the world gather in Canada, Mexico, and the US for the FIFA 2026 World Cup games starting tomorrow; so do all the germs they carry along with them. And, as you'll hear now from Summit County Health Commissioner, Chris Barker, the list of diseases that could be transmitted between sweaty fans in close contact with one another, is long, including  (but not limited to) COVID, Norovirus, and perhaps most concerning; measles.
