Fant Outshines Johnson But Snap Count Tells All | New Orleans Saints News

In a surprising Sunday showdown against the Lions, Noah Fant outperformed Juwan Johnson in targets and yards—but snap counts tell a different story. Johnson dominated playing time with 76 snaps to Fant’s 37, showcasing his vital role in both passing and run-blocking. While Fant had more receptions, Johnson remains the Saints’ go-to tight end, anchoring the offense in multiple packages. Devaughn Vele led wideouts in snaps, Olave followed closely, and rookie Bryce Young logged 62—signaling steady growth. Travis Etienne Jr. also saw top RB snaps at 53. Fantasy stats don’t tell the whole picture—Johnson’s workload proves he’s still the starter. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
