Fantastic Beasts Trailer!

from Bookmarked: A YA Book Podcast · host Bookstacked.com

(Note: This episode was recorded a few weeks ago! Sorry for taking so long to get it to you! -Saul) The 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' trailer has dropped and we're BEYOND excited about it! The trailer has us theorizing about what we might see in J.K. Rowling's upcoming film (we feel like we're in 2007 again!) On top of that, we talk Shadowhunters and give our final thoughts on how Season 1 went. Was it everything fans hoped for or was it another dud? Also, cats. In this episode... We get back at "What Are You Reading!?" Addie's choice is very appropriate for the episode... Confession time: who did and didn't get through Shadowhunters Season 1? (Spoiler: Saul never got past the pilot). Some of the panel thinks that the Mortal Instruments movie might have been better than the show. How exactly did Shadowhunters get a second season order? We're shocked! Michael confesses why he watched the Shadowhunters TV show. *coughpolandbananasBOOKScough* Which Shadowhunters episodes were the best? Did Addie, Mary, and Michael convince Saul to watch Shadowhunters? Mary has to leave early. :( Michael fills us in on the newest Shadowhunters book, Lady Midnight Michael's cat nearly falls out the window. Michael tells us about meeting Cassandra Clare and we ask the important question: What do you say to an author when you meet them? Eddie Redmayne and J.K. "Rouw-ling" The Fantastic Beasts trailer brought feels. We talk briefly about how Fantastic Beasts might tie into J.K. Rowling's 'Magic in North America' Why is Newt expelled from Hogwarts!? Doesn't the book say he graduates Hogwarts? (We're too scared to ask J.K. Rowling about this.) We touch on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and J.K. Rowling's new behind-the-scenes video. Will it be possible to avoid Cursed Child spoilers? Addie's cat makes a cameo appearance. Bookmarked is brought to you by Audible.com!
