Fantastical Tales to be Told
from creation podcasts: movie-cast Hosted by Creation
On this week’s podcast Ambrose Heron takes his usual look at the week’s cinema and DVD releases. Apocalypto is the latest film from Mel Gibson and is a historical epic depicting the decline of the Ancient Mayan civilization. A Prairie Home Companion is the last film to be directed by the late, great Robert Altman and is based on the popular US radio show written by Garrison Keillor. Miss Potter is a biopic about the famous children’s author and stars Renee Zellwegger and Ewan McGregor. Our DVD pick is Thank You For Smoking, a satire about the tobacco industry and we also speak to the writer and director Jason Reitman. Plus, our website of the week is Cinemorgue.com.
