Fantasy Football Champs Radio Week 13: Power Moves For The Playoff Push

from Football Nation · host Football Nation

We are entering the final chapter of the 2013 Fantasy Football regular season. Whether you’ve clinched a playoff birth or fighting for the last wildcard spot, the guys from FFChamps.com are here to help you prepare for Week 13 and beyond. But before we take a look at the upcoming schedule and player rankings, we first look back at the epic battle between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. In terms of the actual game, we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Broncos up 24-0 at the half, Brady and the Pats fight back to take a lead, Peyton sends the game into overtime, and the early blow-out turned into a nail-biter at the end. Just another instant classic in the Peyton-Brady rivalvry. But what the heck happened to all the Fantasy Football performers? Outside of Brady, Knowshon Moreno, Rob Gronkowski, the other usual suspects didn’t come to play. Eric Decker and Wes Welker had a minimal impact, luckily Demaryius Thomas saved his stats with a late game TD. Plus Julian Edelman finished with over 100 yards and 2 TDs but was started in less than 10% of leagues...CRAZY! Luckily, there were plenty of Fantasy regulars like Josh Gordon, Jamaal Charles, and Adrian Peterson who were making some big time plays over the weekend. As we look ahead to Week 13, we strongly advise everyone to take a look at some RBs on the Waiver Wire. Bilal Powell, Montee Ball, Dennis Johnson, and Benny Cunningham have the ability to help your squad in the Fantasy Postseason.
