This week's topic is High-Rise Invasion, an intriguing take on the isekai genre set in a modern-day environment rather than a medieval one. While the story showed potential, it fell short in some aspects, leaving the us with numerous unanswered questions and while at the same time giving us unnecessary fanfare. By the end of the series, it seemed as though the creators were pushing for a second season, but there is no guarantee that it will happen. Despite its shortcomings, the anime had its merits and was somewhat entertaining.    The movie selection for next week is Ningen Fushin.
