Farewell DCEU Part One with Scott Mendelson

Following the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, it is believed we will be seeing a reset in the land of DC Comics turned movies under the new regime of James Gunn and Peter Safran. In this retrospective, Scott Mendelson and I (along with some guests) will be taking a look back at the films that made up the run, dubbed “DCEU” by many, starting with Man of Steel back in 2013. Our first installment is the origin of the films. In the year following the conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies, we start afresh with Zack Snyder and Man of Steel. This episode looks at that one and a few of its follow ups in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman.
