The ladies of Mothers of All Draggings meet on the last Saturday of 2017 to say farewell while sharing their wishes for 2018. They also introduce a new log line: #WhereGrownWomanThangzMatter On the agenda for discussion: Millennials 2017 marks the end of the Generation Y’s birthdays. The last of the Millenials turn 18 years old. Who are they what are their values? Are they totally influenced by social media, and marijuana? READ: Weed Becomes Legal in California. Do they know how and want to take care of themselves? These questions my promote sweeping generalizations about millennial children but it has been a struggle for Generation Xer’s and Baby Boomers to raise them right. Time Magazine’s person of the year is actually the #MeToo movement but why is Taylor Swift on the cover? READ: Time Person of the Year 2017: The Silence Breakers. Furthermore, is the #metoo movement on the right track by exposing famous men for their sexual harassment, and assault behaviors or is it just decreasing the numbers of liberal supporters? The Dragging Ladies ask “What should be the right focus on this movement since politicians are still making laws that goes against what women are asking for such as pay equity and reproductive rights. Does the shift in Hollywood include women of color. Jessica Chastain gets dragged on Twitter after showing up on the cover of the LA Times Envelope magazine with nothing but white women who discuss the lack of diversity in Hollywood. Ginger and Ambitious Mae also drag Ms.Thing because she tries to to cover her usually vocal ass by complaining about not having enough women of color in the photo with her.
