Farmers fear 'one-sided' Critical Minerals Bill

Queensland's Critical Minerals Bill could be a litmus test for other states. The proposed bill sets out the terms for compulsory acquisition of private farmland by private mining companies.  The definition of 'critical minerals' is also unclear - with fears it could apply to things like natural gas.
