After years of neglect in the public debate, agriculture has become a hot topic at the EU level in the past year, with issues like food inflation, farmers' protests, and climate change impact on crops.Consequently, agriculture features heavily in the electoral manifestos and campaigns of many political parties ahead of June's EU elections.
