Fasting - An emotional roller coaster.

I do not know the reason for it but I believe it is imperative of believers to fast. Fasting will reveal a lot things about yourself and the will of the Lord. Jesus was instructing the disciples that you must have faith of the size of a mustard seed when overcoming the supernatural. In this particular case is was a demon. But they were confused why the demon didn't leave when it was commanded. Jesus said " However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. The disciples hit a wall that could only be overcome through #1:faith and #2 prayer and fasting. The truth is fasting is NOT easy, you will be tested! Your flesh only wants to please it self and not God. Death occurs during a fast as well as Godly strengthen and awareness. Don't run from a fast but go on the journey knowing that God is with you.
