Fat Truck Rollover at Columbia Icefield | Calgary News

A solo employee rolled a Fat Truck off the road at the Columbia Icefield near Jasper during maintenance — thankfully, he’s recovering. The tour company has paused all operations until at least Thursday, offering refunds or rebookings. Alberta’s occupational health agency is now investigating. While this incident didn’t result in fatalities, it echoes a 2020 tragedy involving an Ice Explorer bus that killed three and injured fourteen — a sobering reminder of the dangers of heavy machinery in extreme terrain.
