And what better way to celebrate the gold standard in human achievement happening in Paris than to review one of the dumbest and repetitive slashers we’ve ever encountered from the good old USA - 1984’s FATAL GAMES!! We’re training to reach the top by discussing how this movie fails at almost every turn: bland characters, dingy settings, partially clothed showers, sinks full of dirty dishes, completely unclothed chase sequences, Oscar-winning performers, performance-enhancing drugs that decrease everyone’s onscreen performance, and that’s before we get to the prerequisite lockers full of corpses!! All this, plus a surprising connection to Body Double, the return of The Breather, and for the first, and hopefully only time, we have a primarily javelin-based edition of Choose Your Own Deathventure!!
