Father charged with multiple felony counts of child torture appears in court

Today, a man charged with several felony counts of child torture for taking his kids on a hike in a winter storm appeared in court. The three children were severely injured in the hike -- two of them critically -- and had to be rescued from the wintry weather. Now, Micah Smith is asking the court to allow him to contact his three children, who were 2, 4, and 8 at the time of the incident.
