Father's Day Fire Forces Evacuation
from Sacramento News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
A devastating fire tore through a Citrus Heights apartment complex on Father’s Day, engulfing ten out of twelve units and forcing families to flee in panic — but miraculously, no one was hurt. The blaze, which began on a balcony, sent flames skyward and choked the neighborhood in smoke. Arson investigators are now probing the cause, while neighbors rallied to help each other escape. One heartbreaking story: a young single mom lost her insulin and all her possessions — she was away at work when the fire started. Though homes and belongings are gone, the community’s resilience and gratitude for everyone’s safety shine through. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
