Today on America in the Morning Fauci Contempt Of Congress Charge Goes To DOJ A Senate committee voted along party lines Thursday to hold Doctor Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress over his refusal to answer questions at a hearing on his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Steve Futterman reports that instead of having the full Senate vote on the contempt charge, it went directly to the Department of Justice who will have to decide Fauci’s fate.   Trump Birthright Citizenship Executive Orders Despite a recent Supreme Court decision, President Trump signed two executive orders Thursday that target birthright citizenship and end a practice he described as “birth tourism.”   Correspondent Ed Donahue reports.   McConnell’s Health While still absent from Washington, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell is providing an update on his health after recently being hospitalized.
