Today on America in the MorningFauci Takes The Fifth Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared before a Senate committee Wednesday under subpoena, invoking his Fifth Amendment right to not answer a question over 100 times during a hearing that also saw one of his attorneys escorted from the chamber.  Jim Roope reports that Fauci, who received a pardon from President Biden before he left office, could face Contempt of Congress charges as early as next week.   Blanche’s Nomination In Question A day before the Senate Judiciary Committee was scheduled to vote on Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general, the Senior Senator from Texas canceled a meeting with the nominee.  Correspondent Clayton Neville reports the Blanche nomination is now hanging on by a thread.  Middle East Fighting Intensifies Attacks in the Middle East escalated Wednesday and Wednesday night following Iran’s surprise missile launch against a US base in Jordan.   Trump Wants SCOTUS To Rule On Carroll Case President Donald Trump has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the $83 million dollar judgment against him in the defamation case brought by columnist E.
