FAU's conference has a mascot

It's a new world, it's a new era, it's...no longer the American Athletic Conference! Welcome to...the American Conference! Ken LaVicka discusses the league's long-needed rebrand and why it's good for everybody. But what about the league's mascot: SOAR the Eagle. Ken is not quite as enthusiastic about that part of the conference's re-imagining. In addition to the league's new name, Ken is concerned about the constant disparagement some of the league's fanbases direct towards the conference itself and explains why it's detrimental to all parties under the American umbrella.
