Favoured For Elevation

Welcome to Calvary International Christian Centre (CICC) Leeds! In this Sunday sermon, Pastor shares "Favoured For Elevation," unpacking how divine favor interrupts human limitations and opens strategic doors for promotion. Discover why God provides seeds of favor rather than finished harvests, and how to position your mindset for kingdom growth. 📖 Key Scriptures: • 1 Samuel 16:4–13 (Samuel Anoints David) • Psalm 75:6–7 (Promotion Comes from God) • 1 Corinthians 1:27 (God Chooses the Overlooked) • Isaiah 49:15–19 (Inscribed on His Palms) • Ecclesiastes 9:11 (Time and Opportunity) • 1 Samuel 18:14 (David Behaving Wisely) 💡 In this episode, you will learn: 1. God Gives Seeds, Not Finished Harvests: Divine opportunity often arrives as an open door or a key—requiring your action and stewardship to yield the final outcome. 2. Favor Overrides Human Protocols: Man looks at outward appearance, background, and polish, but God looks directly at the heart. 3. Access Requires Action: Divine favor grants entry into strategic rooms, but you must exercise faith, wisdom, and effort to unlock the full blessing. 4. Breaking Free From Survival Mode: You were created for dominion and vision, not merely to survive from paycheck to paycheck. 5. Wisdom in Places of Influence: How to conduct yourself with humility, continuous learning, and discretion when placed before influential leaders. ⏱️ Timestamps & Outline: 00:00 - Reading the Word: Samuel Anointing David (1 Samuel 16:4–13) 02:30 - Sermon Intro: Favoured For Elevation 03:50 - The Revelation of Seed vs. Harvest in Promotion 08:50 - Why Favor Breaks Human Protocols (1 Samuel 16:7) 12:00 - God Chooses the Overlooked (1 Corinthians 1:27) 16:40 - Divine Favor as a Key: Access vs. Action 24:20 - God Will Never Forget You (Isaiah 49:15–19) 27:40 - Time, Chance, and Opportunity (Ecclesiastes 9:11) 31:10 - Shifting from Survival Mentality to Dominion Life 39:00 - Behaving Wisely in Places of Access (1 Samuel 18:14) 47:00 - Maximizing Opportunities & Continuous Learning 56:30 - Prayer for Financial & Practical Elevation Subscribe to stay connected with CICC Leeds and receive notifications for new message uploads!
