The FBI was kept out of the Nancy Guthrie investigation during the pivotal first four days, despite an airplane on standby ready to take DNA evidence to Quantico, according to FBI Director Kash Patel. Patel says the Pima County Sheriff chose to send the DNA to a private lab in Florida instead of the FBI lab.
