Blood is the conduit of physical life according to the Bible. Jesus also stated that words (thoughts) are the source of spiritual life. We are born dead spiritually and we are dying physically because the blood and thoughts that are meant to nourish and repair us are corrupted due to our imperfect fellowship with God. But if we had access to perfect blood and perfect thoughts, we could “cure death” and have eternal life!
