FEADZ - Hit 'Em
from MOVELTRAXX · host MOVELTRAXX
FEADZ returns with MIZUNO EP, a 160‑BPM rollercoaster of 303 basslines, rave stabs and scratches that channels his rich techno‑meets‑rap heritage. A true pioneer, FEADZ has spent the past three decades exploring, bending and redefining electronic boundaries from his early turntablist roots to his iconic work for BPitch Control, Ed Banger or FDZ INC his own imprint. His discography and collaborations (from Uffie to Todd Edwards via Mr. Oizo, DJ Mehdi, Karlito, Big Dope P or Boys Noize) testify to a career defined by a restless pursuit of sound: discover, learn, transmit and play, a motto that perfectly captures his uncompromising creative journey. As a Rinse France resident for 10 years, he regularly introduced his audience to Chicago footwork. Supporter and player of Moveltraxx from day 1 and a half he had to contribute and honor the 160 movement with a very special 3 tracker, doing what he does best: blowing up your speakers and breaking the grid. This EP is a crossfader trick between 80’s Hip Hop and Raw 90’s Acid Rave . It’s a nod to the radical attitude of early Public Enemy, rejecting conformity and artificial coolness. The opposite of AI, the opposite of lukewarm, the opposite of standard : MIZUNO is the sound of resistance, DJ‑driven, analog‑spirited and full of intention. artwork by Funco all tracks written & produced by Fabien Pianta
