We explore the ultimate “closed set” ship casting off a contagion of fear to all corners of the world, as contact tracing resumes, lockdown looms on the horizon, and the same contradictory messaging once again asks the public to hold incompatible realities in the mind simultaneously… deadly but invisible, infectious but unclear, everywhere and nowhere all at once. Along the way we revisit Covid-era rituals, simulated consensus, celebrity infection rollouts, and the possibility that fear itself functions as the true vector, propagating not through biology, but belief.
