Fear of Failure: How It Creates Self-Sabotage & What To Do About It

from Wellness For Real at Any Age · host Heather Heynen, LPC-MH

The fear of failure is a “core fear” for so many of us. When we hold the fear of failure as a “core fear” we will have a very difficulty time finding success in any change or goal we are trying to attain. This particularly can be applied to weight loss or trying to make changes for better health. Fear of failing is often at the core of self-sabotage and why we so often can make changes and see progress for a while, but then eventually, we go back to old habits and patterns and either gain the weight back and/or go back to unhealthy behavioral patterns around our physical health. Take a listen to learn if you might hold this core fear, how this “core fear” of failing sabotages our goals and how to move through this core-fear-belief system and into a new identify with new thoughts that create new feelings that cultivate new behaviors and get you to any goal for good!
