Fear Of Movement Conversation

from Restoring Human Movement

I've had a few patients over the last year I wish I had made this for as they were starting care. The reason being is that being afraid of certain movements (knowingly or not) can create certain types of pain. Establishing a clear line of communication is helpful to get these patients to their goals. Communication is needed with all relationships but in my experience, these types of cases require a little more trust-building. Teamwork!
