Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: God’s Design for Life and Gender Week 3

Our tough topics series for this summer, "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: God’s Design for Life and Gender," will conclude with the final message on God’s design for gender. Gender identity is a term that would have made no sense to someone in our society 10 years ago. There would have been no understanding that there could be a difference between our gender and our biological sex. But in the last decade, that concept has burst onto the scene with some devastating consequences. Sunday, we will examine this topic through the biblical worldview that we have been establishing in our last two sermons. We will look at creation, corruption, the cross, and consummation to see what they have to say about how we should view this topic. Series OverviewThis year, our series on tough topics will focus on a biblical understanding of God’s intentions for life and gender. We will address three divisive issues in our society today: abortion, marriage, and gender identity. These topics can be difficult to contemplate, but by starting with a strong foundation in our Christian worldview, we can learn to navigate not just these issues but many others that confront us as Christians.
