The Braw and The Brave is a podcast about people and their passions. N.B. This episode references sexual violence, bulimia and mental health issues. See below for helpful links. TEDx Cumbernauld Women 2020 orchestrated by Maureen Hascoet took place on Sunday 22nd November. Due to Covid19 the event had to be streamed live on Facebook with many of the speakers pre-recording their talks and only a few speaking live from Ward Park Studios. Embracing the spirit of ‘ideas worth spreading’, I interviewed 5 of the amazing speakers and Maureen herself remotely about the event’s theme ‘Fearless’ and what it meant to be involved in this most uplifting and inspiring event. Maureen Hascoet is an award winning filmmaker who recently moved to Scotland after 12 years in and around the film industry in London.
