Feast of Tabernacles

from Harvest Church Sunday Sermons · host Vern Streeter

Christianity came out of the nation of Israel. When God, through Moses, was organizing the new nation, He instituted seven feasts — four in the spring and three in the fall. As a devout Jew, Jesus celebrated the feasts — which is kind of weird because they all point to Him. I mean, you get a birthday party once a year and that’s cool I guess. But can you imagine people celebrating you seven times a year for 1500 years?! Even better: Jesus participating in the feasts knowing each one was about Him?! (Talk about one-upping your brothers and sisters!)But seriously, understanding the feasts will give you a deeper appreciation of God and the gift of redemption provided by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Join us for the Fall Feasts of Israel. (Spring Feasts coming March 2016)
