Feb 16, 2025 Prayer Service
from Cornerstone YXE Hosted by Cornerstone Church
Today, we’re digging deep into the heart of something fundamental to our faith—prayer. Have you ever felt like prayer is simply a duty rather than a heartfelt conversation? Or maybe you’ve wondered what comes first in your spiritual journey: a strong relationship with God or a vibrant prayer life? In this sermon, Pastor Austin explores these questions and discover that they might not be as separate as we think. As we reflect on the words of St. Augustine, “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You,” we’ll unpack the reality that prayer is not just about talking, but about connecting. Prepare to be challenged as we reflect on how prayer is a partnership with God, where our needs and His presence collide. This sermon is ultimately an invitation to embrace prayer not as a chore but as the very breath of our spiritual journey. So, grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let’s journey together into the depths of prayer as the soul’s sincere desire.
