News from the Feb 14 2024 city council meeting: Bylaw changes inspired by the federal Housing Accelerator Fund have passed but there are concerns about how the housing-friendly measures will interact with the city's various housing-unfriendly neighbourhood plans. Then, council unanimously passes the North Cental Revitalization Initiative and it includes direction to establish a community-led land trust. Overall, a pretty exciting council meeting.
