FEBRUARY 16 - Storm-Proof Faith3-Year-Bible Reading: Proverbs 10:24–25; Acts 16________________________________________“What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established forever.” — Proverbs 10:24–25“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” — Acts 16:25________________________________________Life can sometimes feel like a roller coaster you didn’t sign up for. One minute you’re on top of the world, and the next you’re facing stress, fear, or pain. In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were literally thrown into prison for doing what was right—sharing the gospel. But instead of complaining or panicking, they started singing. That’s the kind of storm-proof faith God calls us to. And Proverbs 10 reminds us that even when life gets wild, those who trust in God will stand firm when the storm is over.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. What do you do in the storm? When Paul and Silas were locked up, they didn’t wait until they were free to worship—they did it in the middle of the chaos. What’s your first response when things go wrong? Prayer and worship change our perspective.2. Built to Last: Proverbs 10 tells us that the righteous are “established forever.” That doesn’t mean life is always easy—but it does mean that with God, we’re anchored in something solid. Are you building your life on God's truth?3. Who’s listening? Other prisoners heard Paul and Silas worship. Your faith in tough times might be someone else’s turning point. How you handle pressure can show others the power of a relationship with Jesus.________________________________________BOTTOM LINEStorms will come—but when you trust in God, you don’t have to be shaken. Your faith can not only carry you through, but also impact everyone around you.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for being my strength when life gets hard. Help me to turn to You first, to worship even when I don’t feel like it, and to be a light to others when storms hit. I want a faith that stands strong, no matter what comes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
