And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.” — Acts 19:17________________________________________We’ve all been tempted to cut corners—maybe copying a friend’s homework or saying “just a little lie” to get out of trouble. But in Proverbs 11:1, God makes it clear: dishonesty isn’t just “not great”—it’s an abomination. That’s a strong word! In Acts 19, we see what happens when people encounter the real power of Jesus. They’re so impacted that they confess their wrongdoing and even burn the stuff they used for magic—worth tons of money! That’s some serious life change. When people really meet Jesus, honesty and integrity aren’t optional—they’re evidence that something real has happened in their hearts.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1.
