The wise lay up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool brings ruin near.” — Proverbs 10:13–14 (ESV)“And falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ And he said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And he said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.’” — Acts 9:4–5 (ESV)“So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road… has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’” — Acts 9:17 (ESV)________________________________________Have you ever thought you were totally right about something—only to find out you were completely wrong? That’s where Saul was in Acts 9. He thought he was serving God by attacking Christians, but he was actually fighting against Jesus Himself. His wake-up call came fast: a blinding light, a voice from heaven, and three days of darkness. In that silence, he had to face the truth. Proverbs 10:13–14 reminds us that wisdom is found in those who are willing to listen and learn. And sometimes, wisdom starts with being humbled, like Saul, who became Paul—the boldest missionary the world has ever known.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. Teach me to seek wisdom, to listen more than I speak, and to be open when You correct me. Just like Saul, change my heart so I can boldly live for You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
