Chrystia Freeland, the deputy prime minister and minister of finance, provides an update on the federal government’s economic plan. Fraser announces a plan to reform the Apartment Construction Loan Program in order to provide low-cost loans to spur the construction of more student housing. Responding to questions from reporters, Freeland comments on reports that the government is examining a possible rebrand of the federal carbon pricing rebate system.
