It's in the seventh month of the lunar year. 頭城搶孤儀式會在農曆七月的時候，在宜蘭舉行。 In Taiwan, the seventh month of the lunar year is Ghost Month. During Ghost Month, ghosts can come and visit. This old ghost grappling competition feeds the ghosts and shows them respect. 在台灣，農曆七月就是鬼月。鬼魂在這個期間來人間拜訪。這個古老的搶孤儀式會提供鬼魂食物並表示尊敬。 Teams of five people climb a tall tower. There's lots of food on it for the ghosts. The teams want to get the flag and the gold medal at the top.
