Feel The Groove (cover)

from John Dyhouse · host John Dyhouse

One of three tracks, of this genre, which I created in the late 80's using software called Acid Forge. I believe it may have been taken over and developed since then... Basically it consisted of a piano roll which allowed samples to be used to build up a multi-track song, easily. I spent a short time experimenting with the software and creating songs, often using lots of copy and paste methods to structure the songs. So may seem to be a litlle repetitive at times. It was experimental and I was in a bit of a hurry - not expecting to swap my guitar for software when creating songs - mostly because lyrics were and are still, the most important element of a song for me. I recorded these songs on my trusty karaoke machine and kept the tape cassettes. As with other early examples of my song writing, I have posted examples on Sound Cloud for my own purposes, little knowing that I would later be able to use something like Suno to re-visit them. If you are into this genre, perhaps you might listen to and even like them. I would love to hear you comments.
