Feeling Adrift in an Early Menopause - Jill chats with Lisa Berry

from Lady Time · host Carole Fitzpatrick

Lisa felt adrift when an early menopause made itself known in her life at the age of only 41. In our conversation she shared what a lonely place it was to be in, that came with a feeling of disempowerment. The turning point for her came whilst sharing her story in a women’s circle, something she wasn’t keen on doing at the time but later came to know the absolute value of sharing your story with others. In the circle she met a woman called Diane Danzebrink author of ‘Make Menopause Matter’ and that opened up a whole new vista of understanding for her. She was more than happy to share her story again here on Lady Time.
