Good morning everyone. I took a break after recording an episode on Women's Day and one on Shivaratri. To be frank, I was inundated with testimonials from my listeners and what I did was I put them in a testimonial document. The testimonial document that serves as an emotional bank account for me.

I read each of them, I processed them and thanked each listener, their family, their employees, service providers, clients immensely for taking time to listen and communicate. It is like severing the last piece of your favorite suite or desert. I don't know about you. I grew up receiving the message from my authority figures like, hey Lalita, don't sit up on your laurels and be complicit, get to work and get better.

Well, it is good. I agree with that. And it did serve my purpose. And that worked great, especially when I was a student.

And while it continues to work, but now I'm 60 years old, I need to feel belonged. So now I'm evolving Lalita. Based upon the workshops I do and the workshops I attend, the coaching I do and the coaching I take, I'm evolving Lalita. So as an evolving Lalita, I choose to not treat it like sitting on laurels, but consciously allow myself to receive those compliments, use one of my core values, which I discussed in one of my episodes.

That is, expressing gratitude and being in the state of gratitude. When I'm already in the United States, as an accomplished career woman, I had to face uncertainty by being in a dependent visa, which means I cannot go to work. Going through careers changes abruptly, you know, quickly abruptly. I was working for a law firm, then I worked in a corporate company, and then that company downsized, closed.

So all sudden, it was an abrupt change. So, and also from banking to immigration, from employee to self-employment. Initially, I embraced all these transformations on the personal front very well, strong, strong, and I did it. But as I realized that while I was adapting to my career transformation well, when it came to my contribution to my being present to my soul, which was getting hurt every time I was going through some transformation in other domains of my life.

Right, which is family, extended family, relationships, finance, whatever. I was feeling like a failure. I was putting myself into victim mode. I became brutally honest with myself.

I started working on myself, my mind, my body, my spirit, my thoughts, my emotions. I had to say no to some of my most accomplished areas in order to step into new uncharted territory. I had to reinvent myself every time when I was supposed to go through transformation. I know for sure with what is happening due to coronavirus, I must be proactive and take steps to reinvent myself as quickly as possible through every transformation.

Proactive, not reactive. Way back in 2002, itself, I took responsibility to learn about my emotions and thoughts. Test for myself. What works and what does not work?

Coming back to the testimonial document which I mentioned in the beginning. Okay, let's say someone compliments you and you just don't connect with that person or even say thank you. Then it is like not opening the gift you received. I became curious when I heard the term emotional bank account.

And this is how I put it into utility. Whenever I receive a compliment in a WhatsApp or a text message, I would just open a notepad, you see a document and copy these compliments into that notepad document. Okay, and I just named it as a testimony. You can name whatever it is, testimonial, emotional bank account, happy dance, whatever, right?

Okay. And then I'll just open the document, copy the beautiful comment with the deepest feelings of gratitude and paste it into the document. Sometimes I may forget, but that's okay. I do it.

Then I thank the person, their family, their employees, their clients, their service providers. You know, it's just like a precision effect. As I'm thinking and truly connecting with a person who complimented during the process, a meaningful deeper relationship between my true self and the other person's true self happens. It does happen.

Physically, I feel more energetic. Mentally, I'm in the state of mind to think clearly and make decisions during the day, which is huge. And especially these days when they're working from home, each task jumps at you and especially when you're switching tasks, it's huge because you need some time to go and relate with your body and then do the next task. You know what I mean?

So it makes it easier for me to connect with the other person in future also. Let me read a few testimonials from that document today. Hi, Lolita. Hope you are having a good weekend.

I finally managed to catch up on all your podcast episodes, except the interview, which I will listen shortly. Okay, I was in that period of low moods for the past couple of weeks, for no apparent reason, and your podcast really energized me. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful insights on the core values, elder ears, love vitamins. You mentioned in the core values that it is not a great achievement.

It is absolutely a great achievement to invest so much in one's own self development and also to inspire others. I haven't seen many such people. You truly deserve a lot of applause for being one of the very few. I know.

Hi, Lolita. I hope you are having a good weekend. I finally managed to catch up on all your podcast, except the interview. I copied that part again.

See, when you copy your piece, you should do a good job. So that's it. I'm reading the same thing again. So what did she say?

I loved your new idea of also sending the chance. Why did you not take a shtakam? Why did you not take a shtakam? Modulations are very nice and brought out.

The power of Shiva also you chose the perfect sloka for Shiva nothing. Hoping Tuesday in current with your podcast. Thanks again for your energizing podcast. Keep going.

Another person said, listen to the podcast just now. Awesome. And refreshing. And there's another person happy women's daily.

Some people call me Lily. You are a truly enthusiastic and vibrant lady. Your voice rings so strong positively and spirit with all the love vitamins. Thank you.

And this is my daughter, and she says, Hi, I'm a great podcast. Glad you were able to learn so much, especially from a book that you got for 50 cents. That's about the love vitamins. If you go and listen to that, you'll know what she says.

You'll know the meaning of what you're saying. What a great deal. And she's put LOL. Yes.

Yes. Can bring you to rewards. You never know. Another person said, what impressed me is the utter truthfulness and joy in your podcast.

You are also blessed with lovely youthful voice. May God bless you and may your passions grow. Thank you. Another person says, Lolita, what an inspiration.

Strong lady loved your talk. Felt like you are having a conversation with me. Thank you. Okay.

Another person. I listened. It was good. You are a very motivated individual who has excelled in so many different areas.

Wish you all the best in all your endeavors. Thank you. Another person said, I found your message on the core value this morning. Very interesting.

I will sit down to jot down my core values now. You speak about life's simple things in such a splendid way. I'm loving it and feels so inspired. Lolita, thank you.

Thank you. Thank you so much. Another person. Okay.

I think the rest I will cover in my future episodes. Please. Okay. I went back to my document and marked the rest of the testimonials in my future episodes.

That's what I wrote in my notes to. Okay. What I have done during the entire process. I consciously spent time on one of my core values which is gratitude.

Gratitude. That I discussed in one of my previous episodes. I also developed the skill of using my apps like, you know, notepad which is document, anchor app, and learning about how I learn things. That's very important.

Start watching how you learn and how you learn. How you learn. Okay. How I learn new things.

I feel empowered and love what I'm doing. Plus, I'm able to take you in my gratitude journey with grace. Even though I may not physically be able to help you when you really need my help. You are there in my gratitude journal.

And I thank you so much for being a part of my growth and part of your growth too. With that said, I invite you to try reading just one or two compliments that you received from your friends and find out for yourself how you feel. And not only friends, even it could be your spouse, your children, your in-laws. Try to do that.

Okay. Emotionally. And then start looking, start observing how you feel emotionally. What emotions pop up.

And what you're thinking is that clarity in your thought. Okay. And how you're feeling, how you're thinking and energetically and where do you stand? Why do you stand?

You know, how is your state of mind? And also physical body, how is your posture? Are you standing straight? Are you breathing deeply?

You know? So now you have a fantastic day and great week ahead. I invite you to subscribe from any platform that you're listening. This episode, it could be iTunes, Google podcast, anchors, Spotify, because it's available in all the platforms.

Most of the platforms I guess. I don't know. Make sure that you don't miss any of my episodes. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. And once again have a fantastic day. Bye.
