Feeling Off This Christmas? Try This.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Our prayer this Christmas season has been, "God, help me to let go of what I think Christmas is supposed to be, and embrace what it is."  We don't want to miss all that God has here and now, because we keep looking back and wishing for the old days.  But this is easier said than done isn't it?  Especially if you're spending this Christmas alone, far from family, sick, stressed and depressed.   This week's podcast episode is a short, ten minute devotional based on Matthew 2:10 - "When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great delight!"  We all need to be guided this Christmas.  We all need God's light to brighten the dark places of our lives.  We all need the clarity & peace that comes from following the One who is lighting our way.   Just like Jupiter & Saturn crossed paths from our perspective last night here on earth, may we ask for God to shift our perspective to his presence so we can be present to the gifts He has for us this Christmas.   And if you're looking for a way to give (and get a tax receipt) this year, head to www.lovehealinghugs.com and pay for a child living in poverty to have a life changing surgery this year.  $360 dollars ($1 a day) or $30 a month will sponsor a surgery for a little one who can't afford it.  Send a healing hug this Christmas!
