FEELING THINGS - Dealing with Narcissists at Work
from The Bobby Bones Show Hosted by anonymoussauthorz
Working for or with a narcissist can seriously damage your mental and physical health. Today we're breaking down what narcissism actually looks like at work, from the loud, degrading "overt" boss everyone can spot, to the sneakier "communal narcissist" who love-bombs you, plays the hero, and quietly discards you once they've gotten what they need. We talk about why these people rise to the top, how toxic teams end up mirroring dysfunctional families with everyone playing a role, and what to actually do if you're stuck in a workplace like this, including documenting everything, setting boundaries, and being honest with yourself about how much you can really take. Plus, this week's Hasbro Moment honors a teacher, coach, and dad who shows up fully for kids both in and out of the classroom. Hasbro is sponsoring Feeling Things for 8 weeks, celebrating back to school by getting families around the table with games again. Even better: they're helping us honor amazing teachers! Know one? Email [email protected] or call 877-207-2077, they could get featured on the show, plus a $500 Walmart gift card from Hasbro for classroom supplies.
