Feeling Unlucky in Love?

from Choose Happy with Swami Nityananda Hosted by Awake Yoga Meditation

Dear Choose Happy Community, Feeling unlucky in love can leave you carrying disappointment, heartbreak, and emotions you don’t always know what to do with. But healing doesn’t mean forcing yourself to move on or pretending you’re okay. Sometimes, you need to cry, give yourself space, and let the grief pass through you. Just as a storm eventually clears the air, allowing yourself to feel can create room for a fresh start. Here’s one of our favorite quotes from the video: “If you give yourself time and space to grieve and you let yourself cry when you need to, the grief blows through you the same way that a storm blows through. And then after the storm blows through, you’re like, ‘The air is clean.’ And your body feels clean. It feels fresh. It feels like that energy just needed to move through you. “And so wherever you are in that process, be kind, be wise, be good, be nice, be gentle to yourself. I would say, you know, this is just like practical advice, but choose a few friends who you can trust to be confidential. It only takes like two or three. And ask them, say like, ‘I trust you, to have a confidential conversation with me, and I trust you to keep my confidence now and ongoingly. Do you feel comfortable with that?’ “And it only takes like two or three people like that, and then you don’t have to do the heavy processing with everybody all the time because you’ve got your space and time, your meditation practice, hopefully your karma yoga practice,. And then your two or three trusted confidential friends, and that really helps as well.” We also shared this video on YouTube, but wanted you to be able to have it on your Substack video player as well, in case you prefer that.
