Feels Like 8 Degrees | New Hampshire Weather 6 PM

from The New Hampshire Weather Podcast

Good evening, folks! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the New Hampshire Weather Podcast for Tuesday, February 24th. If you stepped outside today expecting winter to ease up, well, it had other plans. February's not done with us yet. And tonight's no exception. Step outside right now and you'll feel it. Down in Concord, you're sitting at about 28 degrees. Manchester's right there too, hovering near 27. Head up toward the White Mountains, though. And it's a different story entirely. North Conway's already dropped to 18. And up in Pittsburg? You're looking at a **brutal** 8 degrees. That's the kind of cold that bites. And it's only getting colder overnight. Wind chills are making things feel even nastier. You've got gusts pushing 15 to 20 miles per hour across the Lakes Region, which means exposed skin is dealing with feels-like temps in the single digits. If you're heading out tonight — maybe walking the dog or grabbing something from the car — you'll want to Dress warmly. Gloves, hat, the whole deal. Overnight, clouds are thickening across the southern tier. By early Wednesday morning, a light snow event could show up, dropping one to three inches from Keene through Nashua and up toward the Seacoast. Nothing catastrophic, but enough to make your morning commute a little tricky. Take it slow if you're driving, especially on secondary roads that don't get plowed first. Now here's your heads-up for the week ahead. Wednesday stays cloudy with highs struggling to hit 30 in most spots. Thursday brings a brief break — some sunshine, temps creeping toward the mid-30s. Because Friday into Saturday? Another system's lining up. This one could pack more punch. We're watching it closely. If you're thinking about hitting Cannon Mountain or Bretton Woods this weekend, keep an eye on those forecasts. Fresh snow could mean **perfect** conditions — or it could mean travel headaches getting there. Fun fact for you tonight — the full moon this week is called the Snow Moon. Ayuh, they named that one right. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. , New Hampshire. Take care!
