Le dernier bonbon. Felix González-Torres nait à Cuba en 1957, 2 ans avant l’arrivée au pouvoir de Fidel Castro. Il s’installe à New York à l’âge de 22 ans, et se passionne rapidement pour l’art et la philosophie. Dans les années 1980, il intègre Group material, un groupe d’artistes qui s’élèvent contre la marchandisation de l’art. La mort de son compagnon, atteint du sida, et bientôt sa maladie marqueront profondément son œuvre.
