Felony Friday Ep. 013 - TheArthur Duncan Shares How He Became a Lawyer with a Felony Conviction

from Lions of Liberty Network · host LionsOfLibertyPodcast

TheArthur Duncan II joins host John Odermatt to share how he transformed his life after a felony drug conviction. From his younger days growing up surrounded by gangs in LA to selling crack on the streets of Buffalo, TheArthur overcame both external and self-inflicted mistakes to achieve his dreams. TheArthur’s felony drug conviction led to three years in jail, but he did not allow that to limit his opportunities or expectations. After a teacher let him know that felons were permitted to practice law in the state of New York he wasn’t going to let anything stand in his way. Although, his path to a law degree has been far from typical, his story provides tremendous motivation for felons and people of all backgrounds to reach for the sky.
