Felton Eyes Playoff Role Amid Competition | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Tai Felton is poised to seize his moment with the Minnesota Vikings this season, aiming for a bigger role as the team targets playoff contention. After earning a roster spot last year with limited snaps, he’s now vying for depth reps behind the top receivers — especially with a key player gone — but faces stiff competition from veteran Jauan Jennings. Felton, who recalls waiting his turn in college, remains laser-focused, soaking up every lesson and showing flashes of explosiveness — including a 50-yard catch from J.J. McCarthy — that have earned coach praise. With final roster cuts looming, Felton’s speed and readiness could make him a crucial late-game weapon if he can hold his ground against seasoned competition.
