Welcome to PHD (Positivity Hack Delivered) Episode 058 by Beata Young with guest Tyrhonda Knowles - Glinton. Mrs. Glinton is a Project Manager at The Department of Transformation and Digitization (DTaD), where she led several Digitization projects in the public service. She is a Certified Business Professional in Project Management and a Youth Leader from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture. She also volunteers as the Contestants Manager for the Miss Bahamas Teenager Pageant where she serves as a mentor for teenage girls for the past seven years, to represent The Bahamas. Because of her dedication and commitment to youth development, she was nominated for the 2013 & 2020 Youth Ally Ministry of Youth Awards.    With FEM STEM, Mrs. Glinton created an Awards Ceremony recognizing girls who excel in STEM. Along with 4 Bahamians girls in STEM, she attended and presented during the 5th International Day of Girls in Science Panel discussion hosted at The United Nations in New York.  Over the past two years, she partnered with the Ministry of Social Services hosting a number of STEM-based competitions, workshops and seminars.   Most recently she was appointed as Co-Chair for the CARICOM Secretariat Girls in ICT and Youth in Single Space Committee. Mrs. Glinton also serves as a part time IT Assessor/Instructor for high school kids in the National Training Agency’s Pre Apprenticeship Program.
