Female Genital Mutilation violates rights

Cultural practices such as Female Genital Mutilation not only violate the rights of young girls but also put them at the risk of death and infections. This is according to 14 year old Purity Obwocha, a Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative Child representative in Kenya. Millions of women and girls alive today have been mutilated in over 30 African countries.
