It's estimated there are anywhere between three- and 23-million feral pigs in Australia - with the worst problems in New South Wales, the far north of WA and in Queensland. Now a  General Bio-Security Directive have been slapped on the Walgett region - the first for pis in NSW - and it requires every landholder to actively take part in a mandatory eradication program.
