An der Abschlussfeier der Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) am 27. Juni 2009 in Brig haben insgesamt 96 Absolventinnen und Absolventen der Diplom- und Nachdiplomstudiengänge ihr Diplom erhalten. Unter ihnen war auch der frischgebackene Informatiker Stefan Meichtry, der für die beste Gesamtleistung im Departement Informatik ausgezeichnet wurde.
